First class passengers enjoy seating patterns with wide, reclining seats. Complimentary beverages and a newspaper are provided. We seek to provide a comfortable environment for those working and relaxing. Curtains at the windows offer additional privacy and shade. 

Passengers in Standard accomodation enjoy higher levels of comfort than with most other train companies with improved seating and leg room. Carriages have added space for luggage.

Free Wi-Fi is available on all our trains (subject to availability)

Power sockets are available in most carriages for laptops and mobile phones

Seat reservations are provided free of charge on all Grand Central services. Reservations are recommended at weekends and holiday times.

Smoking is not permitted on any part of any Grand Central train.

Cyclists are welcome on board all Grand Central services. Please remember to book your cycle space.

Pets are welcome on board Grand Central services, free of charge, as long as they do not occupy a seat. Please ensure your pet does not disturb other passengers.

Luggage Racks are provided at the end of each carriage for storing large items of luggage. Extra luggage space is provided behind seats and in overhead racks.
