Sometimes our schedules have to be altered especially when lines are closed at weekends by Network Rail for improvement or maintenance work. You are strongly advised, if travelling at weekends to check your train times.
Sunday 12th September 2010 – North Eastern Route Because of Network Rail engineering work between Sunderland and Eaglescliffe some trains will not call at Hartlepool. Replacement road transport will operate between Hartlepool and Eaglescliffe for affected services. Please note that some services depart Sunderland earlier than normal. Monday 11th to Thursday 14th October 2010 – West Riding Route Because of Network Rail engineering work between Doncaster and Wakefield Kirkgate the 1948 service from Kings Cross to Bradford will not call at Pontefract Monkhill. Replacement road transport will operate between Pontefract Monkhill and Wakefield Kirkgate. A full timetable will be available shortly.
