Grand Central tickets are available now for the festive period. Our trains will be busy during the holidays so we recommend that you book your tickets in advance and reserve a seat.Seat reservations are free on Grand Central.

To help cut the cost of travel at Christmas, off-peak tickets are valid on all our trains from Saturday 19th December to Saturday 2nd January 2010.

For that special Christmas treat our Weekend First up-grade will be available on all our services over the festive period. Upgrade to First Class for just £15 each way, just see the on-train staff.

With Grand Central you can buy your tickets on-line, on the phone, at the station or on the train at the same price.

How to book your tickets

Online or by phone
The full range of tickets for all train companies, including railcard discounts can be purchased through our website at www.grandcentralrail.com or telesales centre on 0844 811 0071.

At the ticket office
Grand Central has its own ticket office in York, which can provide tickets for most UK rail journeys. Our ticket office is located at River House, 17 Museum Street, York. Travel Consultants are available between 0900 and 1700 Monday to Friday.

At Stations
Grand Central tickets are available at all Travel Centres and Ticket Offices on any National Rail station.

Print@Home
Adult fares are available through our Print@Home website. click here to book. These tickets are sent directly to a mobile phone or you can chose to receive your tickets as an e-mail for you to print. Print@Home tickets are only available on the full adult fares to or from London Kings Cross on Grand Central.
